Reflection

Much  of the wider literature on organisational success emphasizes the need to accept constant change. so too do advocates of  total quality management,with its never-ending quest for improvement.Most of organizations are a long way from this and have a very lukewarm approach to training and learning in general.

            Based on the evidence of some of the well-known and more successful implementors of HRM,It appears that organizations need first to maintaina  a  flexibility of structure so that they can rapidly respond to changing requirements and opportunities.(ex,in the labour market)secondly,it is necessary to learn through information and especially feedback.This will involve a range of communication systems such as careful use of staff attitude surveys.It also implies feedback through systematic evaluation of policies and progress.on the other hand linked to the quality movement,is the search for constant means of improving HR performance.This is another kind of information and learning,reflected in close contact with those at the forefront of those at the forefront of new development in the HR field,including academics sifting of new developments should lead to selection of those approaches and techniques whichh can provide renewal and redirection within the frame work of the long-term strategy and value system.

In conclusion,many of the prescriptions outlined in the above previous  section fit  in with general programmes for effecting and susstaining change in  organizations.they are adjusted to take account of the specific feaatures of HRM and the   evidence of the progress is in many respects disapointing.
